Kress Plaza Lofts

The residential condominium suites at Kress Plaza have been addressed as Suite “K”, “R”, “E”, “S1” and “S2” keeping with Mr. Kress’s name. These condos are perfect for the discerning buyer who wants to live in a quality constructed, maintenance-free environment without sacrificing their historic lifestyle.  Each Suite has two bedrooms, two full baths with lighted marble showers, original red maple hardwood floors throughout, custom made wood cabinets, eight foot solid core doors, early 1900’s trim and state of the art “Integrated Technology-Advanced Communication System” for data and phone services. Also, each suite has 12’ ceilings and flooded with light from the large 5’ x 8’ original windows. The Kress Plaza features a unique security entry system that allows residents to see, in full color, and talk to anyone requesting to visit.  Once inside, a beautiful staircase leads upstairs to the residential condominiums.  With beautiful 1900’s style chandeliers outside each suite entrance along with tray ceilings and archways, the detail in the corridor is indicative of the quality found inside each suite. In addition, all suites receive two designated parking spots within 100’ of entrance doors. The project also has two stairwells and a certified freight elevator.

Each residential condominium suite sold in the Kress Plaza has Historic Tax Credits for the buyer. Owner occupied suites qualify for a 30% State Tax Credit based on the qualifying rehabilitation cost of the Suite and this credit can be used over a ten year period of time. Income producing suites qualify for a 20% Federal and 20% State Tax Credits also based on the qualifying rehabilitation cost of the suite. These credits are a “hidden value” that ultimately reduces the purchase price of each suite.
